Double dose of thrill in Smallville

With season 8 of Smallville just around the corner there is much excitement about this coming season. There are going to be not one but two villains in the new season. The TV guide has reported that Charlotte Sullivan will appear as Maxim from fourth episode onwards. About this new character which is to be introduced first time in this season, she is the oldest child of the royal family of the planet Almerac. The purpose of her visit to the planet earth is to find a match for her. So folks don’t be surprised if she is found lip locked with more than one gent in Smallville.

She is supposed to be only female genetically compatible, except of course Kate Bosworth, to give to superman what no Earth woman can. You guessed it right, buddies, children. As other aliens she is also given super powers like mind control, superhuman strength and stamina and all other paraphernalia that aliens are supposed to possess. With her deadly looks she is sure to generate lots of interest with the fans.

The identity of the other villain is no secret. It’s all over the news anyway. Sam Witwer is going to be introduced as Davis Bloom or Doomsday. There is much to look forward to forthe new season. I am going to miss Kristine Kreuk but I have taken heart after listening to rumors that Lana will come back in this season though possibly at the worst time for Clark’s personal life.

Not much time to lose as the countdown has already begun. I think Smallville will rock this season.

Another new comer to save the world- Smallville

Last night, I was passing my time on internet before going to bed and then clicked on TV news to see what is coming and what is ready to leave the screen then encountered some news about the new cast on Smallville. It reminded me of the Smallville episodes which I had seen. I wonder, the show is really fast; it ended up with season seven in the month of May this year and is coming back in September along with many new characters.

The latest member to join the team is Oliver queen and will be played by Justin Hartley. The news story said that Black Canary, Aquaman and Martian Man hunter will all be returning in the season opener to team up with Oliver Queen to rescue Clark Kent. It will be pretty exciting to watch a new team working on world’s safety. As in the last season Clark got into Fortress of Solitude. Secondly he is trying to lead a normal life and is hiding and controlling his powers while learning to deal with destruction of the Krypton. After reading about small Ville the whole final episode started filming in my mind and made me more curious about the coming season.

Well I like the show very much and it’s a good show that’s why it has seen seven seasons and is ready with the eighth. I have developed a sort of habit to watch this regularly so it makes me feel good that it is not going to end very soon. Otherwise I always say sorry to the drama series. But this is different than the other melo-dramas running on screen and I like such off beat and technical kind of stuff. So I am now going to download its final season from this site, so that I can stay in touch with the series until it hits the screen again.

Extracts from Smallville season seven DVDs

This is the pretty good news for the ‘Smallville’ fans. You can now get DVDs of season seven on September 9. Seventh season was really wonderful and after popular demand it is coming in the form of DVDs.
I have heard that the season 7 DVDs will contain interviews and commentaries from cast and creators. Unaired scenes will be the main attraction of the DVD. Besides this it will include documentary on Super girl: The Last Daughter of Krypton, depicting that the character was first popularized in Dc Comics and later manifested in a feature film, animation and finally Smallville. “Jimmy on Jimmy” featurette and Small Ville legends Mobisode Gallery will also add to the DVD content.

These DVDs can also be preordered from Amazon. So is there anything left to add to these DVDs. I think this is already an extra dose for those who have watched and loved the Smallville’s seventh season. I am eager to watch the unaired scenes especially, because when you like a show and are regularly watching it then you don’t want to miss a bit of it.

The Smallville is based upon a comic book legend and its wonderful presentation has made it one of the most memorable shows on TV. The DVD’s will be released along with the premier of eighth season. It is definitely going to be great treat to Smallville lovers in September.
