Personal Life- He is 6′4″ tall and graduated from Atlanta, Georgia. He is a well known actor, singer, screenwriter and a film producer. He is father of three kids and is married to Elly Castle, though this is his second marriage. Previously he was married to former Miss America, Tawny Elaine Godin and divorced after three year long marriage. He does a lot much charity work as well.
Career Credits- He has a long list of movies and TV shows in his pocket. He began his career in 1981 as a host in The Midnight Special. In 80s he started a glorious career in music industry as well with country music, which people still love to hear. He directed a few episodes of Smallville which were rated 8.8 out of 10, and he added a lot to the show’s popularity. He acted as Clark’s adoptive father in Series Smallville.
In the role of Jonathan Kent- He is playing Clark’ Father in series, who does anything to protect the secret of his son. He doesn’t hesitate in going to jail in order to protect his son. In the 100th episode he dies due to Heart Attack and went off from the series. He is such a popular film actor that his presence added to the popularity of Smallville and ratings jumped up with his direction as well. He was profusely shown in the promos of Smallville to gain popularity for the show and it really added to the viewer ship.
