And, Smallville season 10 may happen!
Uncertainty……Nobody other than the fans of Smallville can understand the meaning of this word! Though this uncertainty always brought good news to the fans of the series, it had made people to worry about the future of their favorite TV series innumerous times. In the past year, the 2008, rumor mill spread the news that Smallville won’t return with the eighth season. Fans had a sigh of relief when the series returned with the eighth season on September 18, 2008. It came to an end on May 14, 2009 and we started talking about the ninth season of series. Once again, uncertainty blocked the way! And, that time, the major actor of the series Tom Welling become the center of the controversies as it was not sure that whether he would renew his contract with the series or not. No body can ever imagine Smallville without Tom, portraying Clark Kent, so once again show’s future got lost into the dark. The series creators didn’t take too much time to let fans know that Smallville would return with the ninth season on September 25, 2009.
Well, as of know, we fans are not left with any reason to predict the future of Smallville. The star cast of the series has started giving hints that Smallville would return with the tenth season if the ratings of the ninth season would remain strong.
Let’s now see the other side of the coin. Though Tom has signed a new contract with Smallville, it doesn’t assure his return on the tenth season of Smallville. Secondly, what would the writers bring to the fans, I mean, does any thing left to be done on Smallville. And, thirdly, would Smallville be able to survive in a new timeslot as series is being moved to Friday night timeslot. Let’s see what kind of results will be come out.
