Yes friends! The much awaited season 9 of Smallville took off on September 25, 2009. The season opener was entitled as, “Savior.” The episode received plentiful praises from the audiences. Somehow it achieved a bit lower ratings as compared to usually high ratings garnered by Smallville episodes.
If I am asked about my personal views regarding this episode, I found it absorbing and fully loaded with all the vital ingredients that make an episode rock. At present, three episodes of Smallville have already been aired. October 9, 2009 was the air date of the next episode in this queue. It was entitled as, “Rabid.” In it, Tess was shown as reflecting zombie-like symptoms. Clark discovers that Tess began to express odd behavior while she was at the Daily Planet. Next it is depicted that he immediately leaves for Daily Planet in order to rescue Lewis. A fight with many zombie attackers takes place. During the course of this fight, Lewis gets nibbled.
One more episode of Smallville that was recently aired was entitled, “Echo.” Its air date was October 16th 2009. In this episode Toyman returns and takes Oliver as a hostage in the premises of Queen Industries. Clark is given the expertise to judge the inner thoughts of people.
The next three episodes in the queue are “Roulette“, “Crossfire” and “Kandor.” The first among these episodes is scheduled to air on October 23rd whereas Crossfire will be presented on October 30th.

September 25 is coming closer by the day. I am getting very nervous with excitement that what is going to happen next on this new season of Smallville. I have already bitten some of my fingernails. If every TV show produced an attention grabbling effect such as Smallville, I would have never required a nail cutter. I know that fans of Smallville are sailing in the same boat.
Talking about the television network airing Smallville episodes and those behind putting life into this concept, all are keeping mum. I feel that they have something up their sleeves which they want to reveal in due time.

The next episode of the cards is, “Metallo.” In this episode, Clark learns that he possesses supernatural powers as well. In addition, he learns that his heart is not like a human heart as it was a kryptonite heart.
As per the reports from different quarters there will not be much chopping and changing in the original cast.

Would Smallville Season 9 bring some surprises?
The news is finally out that Smallville Season 9 has been confirmed by The CW network. What would the season be like? His stay with the show is not confirmed and no official words are given for the same. It is no-way apparent whether he would return as a regular character or not. Right now, I can remember the beginning of season 8 of Smallville. What was the response of fans’ when Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum, two main stars of the show decided not to return with the season 8? Though it left people stunned, their departure failed to affect the overall quality of the show. The introduction of new characters filled up the void left.
But, as of now, it seems that no body can cover up the things if Tom Welling leaves ‘Smallville’. And, if somebody replaces Tom, do you think, we’d continue loving Clark Kent? It’s a known fact that we come to identify a character with the actor/actress, who plays that role. Once we get used to watch a particular person playing a particular role, it becomes hard to accept any other actor taking over. It’s ‘Requiem’ on Smallville!
As of now, Smallville is running with season 8 and things are going good, as very usual. The very recent episode of series was aired on February 5, 2009 and it was entitled ‘Requiem’. This time the ratings were 3.93 million viewers and it was the fourteenth episode of the current season.
Here’s a little review of the episode, for those who skipped it due to any reason. In the beginning of the episode, we saw that Oliver was about to make an important announcement to the LuthorCorp Board of Executives. The announcement was going to explore the fact that the Queen Industries had bought controlling interest in LuthorCorp. Before it happened, a bomb sparked off in the meeting room.
The severe explosion made Clark and Lana to investigate the reason why it happened. Their in-depth research let them know that the bomb was made of kryptonite. Lana also came to know that in addition to giving her strength and speed, her suit also had the ability to soak up kryptonite radiation.
The master mind behind the bomb explosion was Winslow Schott. The man was a Queen Industries employee, then employed with Lex. His next target was Daily Planet and he planted a bomb on the roof of the Daily Planet. In order to diffuse the bomb, Lana absorbed the kryptonite from the bomb. It made her so irradiated and it looked like that she and Clark would definitely be having different paths onwards. As the episode came to an end, we saw that Clark tracked Lex down. Lana left Smallville once again.
Wholly, everyone liked this episode… it was sort of entertaining and okay-ish one! The thing which I am still not sure about is that why it was entitled Requiem… leave it anyways. So, The next episode is entitled ‘Infamous’ and it would be aired on March 12, 2009. Next to it would be ‘Turbulence’ scheduled to be aired on March 19, 2009. …. No more episodes and airing dates yet! I’d he here to let you know as soon as any official announcement is made by the CW Network.

Who wants to kill Superman?
I am sure there are many of us who would love to do this, but not all of us are that lucky. Well, before I say anything else, let me tell you that here I am talking in connection to Smallville. Yes, as we all know that the series is currently running into its eight season and there are rumors that this probably would be the last season of the series. If that is so, then, the doomsday is not that far. Well, doomsday will the day when the Superman will be killed. And, the lucky guy who gets to do that in the series is Sam Witwer.
Yes, the newest entry in the series. He has lots to do in this series and most importantly the coolest job that anyone would love to do. I mean I would just love to be in his place. In the series he is playing the role of Davis Bloome. In the series he quickly makes friends with Chloe. Mostly the season will be dealing with his character and some very important issues that Davis’s character has. He will be doing a lot of self investigation as far as his character is concerned. The blackouts that his character is having in the series which ultimately leads to lots of dislocation of time will be solved as the series proceeds. I am sure fans will love this plot as there is lot of curiosity among fans that what has happened during those blackouts. And, above all his character will deal with Superman. We have also heard that it is most likely the series will almost end in the same way as that of the comic.
Besides, Smallville we have also seen him Sam in Battlestar Galactica, where he played the role of Crashdown and as Private Jessup in The Mist. Well, Sam I am really jealous of you as you have got to do a very important role in the series that any one would die for. Lucky you!!!

Smallville- just ‘Committed’!
Who is committed to whom on ‘Smallville’? To make out, let’s read the review.
Really, ‘Committed‘ was a descent episode and it turned out pretty good. Although, the Criminal didn’t contain any super powers but it entertained us with the way he acted and portrayed his role. He contains a watch with kryptonite and all he does is kidnapping. He kidnaps the engaged couples and ties them to electric chairs. Next step is to make them take lie detector test to see if they’ve any un-shared secrets. And, the first couple is Jimmy and Chloe. Honestly, the stuff (how they behaved) was sort of okay. Of course, the best couple was Clark and Lois. They both undergo as lovers to lure out the kidnapper so that they can save their friends. The development between both of them was really superb, exceptional, delighting, funny and definitely, re-watchable as well.
We see that Clark’s powers become useless, because of the kryptonite watch and he is strapped to the chair with Lois. In the very next episode, we see that Lois admits something and it was what makes the episode a pivotal one. The intelligent Clark plays a trick with the baddie and gets rid of the kryptonite watch and saves himself and Lois as well. It was very good to see Clark using his wits instead of his super powers.
This is what happened on ‘Committed’. I hope you must have got your answers (top of the post). Well, the acting was good and episode was as also enjoyable. But, still one thing is here, that all recent episodes lack. and its’ action. Actually, nowadays, they people are just concentrating on drama and action has become a secondary part. But, action is what we all expect from ‘Smallville’ sort for dramas.
